“42-Year-Old Woman Gets 15 Years for Supplying Ketamine Linked to Matthew Perry’s Overdose”

A 42-year-old woman in Los Angeles has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in connection with the distribution of ketamine linked to the tragic death of actor Matthew Perry. The woman, identified as Jasveen Sangha and known among her customers as the “Ketamine Queen,” operated a high-volume drug trafficking business out of her home in North Hollywood.
Authorities stated that she continued her illegal activities even after becoming aware of the serious harm and deaths caused by the substances she sold.Sangha had pleaded guilty to five federal charges, including maintaining a drug-involved premises and multiple counts of distributing ketamine, one of which specifically resulted in death or serious bodily injury. Prosecutors highlighted that she supplied dozens of vials of ketamine in the weeks leading up to Perry’s fatal overdose in October 2023. Despite learning of the dangers, she showed little regard for the consequences and kept running her operation from her residence.
During the sentencing hearing, Matthew Perry’s family members spoke emotionally in court, sharing their profound and ongoing grief over the loss of the beloved “Friends” star.
