“Horror in Massachusetts: Man, 29, Kills 90-Year-Old Grandmother with Skateboard in Shared Home”
Devin Dube, a 29-year-old man from Hudson, Massachusetts, United States, has been formally charged with murder following an alleged violent attack in which he struck his 90-year-old grandmother, Elaine Dube, multiple times with a skateboard inside the family home they shared
.According to officials from the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, the disturbing incident unfolded on Tuesday, March 31. During the same attack, the accused allegedly injured two other family members — his father and his sister — as well.The 90-year-old victim was quickly rushed to a hospital for urgent medical treatment after sustaining serious injuries. Tragically, she later succumbed to those injuries and passed away.
In the aftermath of the incident, Devin Dube was discovered hiding inside a van near the scene and was promptly taken into custody by law enforcement without further incident.Authorities have stated that the accused has a documented history of schizophrenia. As a result, he will now undergo fresh psychiatric evaluations to assess his mental state. He is scheduled to return to court for his next appearance on April 17.
