“Teacher Charged with Aggravated Assault After Choking Student Over Casual ‘Bruh’ Remark”

On April 15, 2026, a serious incident took place at Wonder Junior High School in West Memphis, Arkansas. It involved 56-year-old teacher Tracy Matthews and one of his students. The confrontation began when the student casually addressed Matthews as “bruh.” Matthews immediately corrected him, saying firmly, “I’m not your bruh, I’m your sir

West Memphis Police were notified immediately and arrived at the school the same day.
