A 15-year-old teenager, identified as Omar “N”, carried out a tragic armed attack at the Anton Makarenko High School located in Lázaro Cárdenas, in the state of Michoacán, Mexico.According to statements from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán, the student allegedly became upset after he was not allowed to enter the school premises.
He then returned to his home, retrieved a high-caliber rifle, and came back to the school. Once there, he opened fire on two female teachers, causing the death of both educators.The incident has caused a major impact across the local community and the entire country. Authorities have launched a full investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding the attack and to establish any additional responsibilities.
