Jack Osbourne Shares Heartbreaking Update On Sharon Following Ozzy’s Death
In July, Ozzy Osbourne died. The “Prince of Darkness” fought Parkinson’s disease and left behind his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and six children. Months have passed since the cherished singer’s death, and now son Jack Osbourne provides a heartbreaking update on Sharon’s health.
Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of heavy metal group Black Sabbath and nicknamed “The Prince of Darkness,” died in July. His family announced the news, saying, “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
He donated millions to organizations that combat Parkinson’s disease and was a highly prominent and outspoken advocate for the condition until his death. Osbourne did a final show with Black Sabbath in Birmingham this summer. More than £1 million was raised for Parkinson’s research and children’s causes by the event for local organizations.
A funeral cortege traveled through Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham before he was finally laid to rest on July 30.
Thousands of fans had the opportunity to bid their final farewells as Ozzy’s casket passed through Birmingham in a procession. When Ozzy’s family arrived at the location, they were greeted with a sea of flowers at the Black Sabbath Bridge bench, where the hearse had once halted.
Sharon sobbed as she delivered tributes to their departed father and husband with the help of her kids, Ozzy, Kelly, Jack, and Aimee. Kelly, Sbe’s daughter, put a protective hand on her mother’s shoulder to console her.

A few weeks following Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral, Sharon and her daughter Kelly made an appearance on camera to express gratitude for everyone’s support.
“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know,” Sharon Osbourne said. “None of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it’s carried me through many nights. Though I’m still finding my footing.”
Months have now gone by since Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
Jack, his son, gave a devastating update on his mother’s condition during an appearance on Good Morning America. She was last spotted in public at her husband’s memorial service.
“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, ‘She’s OK, but she’s not OK’,” Jack said, adding that he knows his mother “feels the love” from fans.
“None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he continued. “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”
