Scottish-born Edward James rebuilt his garden in rock and concrete. He created Las Pozas, a surrealistic wonderland hidden in the middle of the jungle, between 1962 and 1984. It includes more than 80 acres and located more than 2,000 feet (610 m) above sea level, in a subtropical rainforest in the mountains of Mexico.
